I am having difficulty finding a materia medica for homeopathic uncaria tomentosa (cat’s claw). I can find plenty of information on the use of the herb, but very little on it as a homeopathic. I wonder if they are similar?
I checked my various Materia Medica books, and so far, it does not seem that Cat’s Claw has been proven homeopathically (ie – taken long enough to see what kind of toxicity develops). As a herb, it is given to enhance immune function, increase enerty and stamina and I have seen it given for this in low homeopathic potencies (that tends to mimic the herbal picture), such as 1X or 3X.
Some more information here:
I hope this helps.
