Symptoms

      Is an excellent remedy for broken bones where the bones refuse to knit (Calcarea phos.). (N.).

It facilitates union of fractured bones, lessens peculiar pricking pain, and favours production of callus (Calcarea, Calcarea phos.). (A.).

Irritability at the point of fracture (Hypericum). (A.).

In injuries of the eye if there is great pain in the eye-ball itself from the blow, it may have to be used (Arnica, Ledum, (N.).

Irritable stumps after operations (Hypericum). (Bl.).

Periosteal pains after wounds have healed (Calcarea phos., Silicea). (A.).

Psoas abscess (Arnica, Asafoetida, China, Cuprum, Acid phosphoricum., Silicea, Staphysagria, Sulphur, Syphilinum) (Br.).

Inflammation of inferior maxillary bone with hard, red swelling (Br.).

Neuralgia of knee (Belladonna). (Br.).

Pain in the occiput (Cocc., Petroleum, Silicea). (Br.).

Injuries to sinews and tendons (Br.).

AGGRAVATION:

      From touch; from motion; and from pressure; after mechanical injury.

AMELIORATION:

      From warmth.

      Compare: Arnica, Calendula, Calcarea phos., Fluor-Ac., Hepar, Mercurius, Acid nitricum, and Silicea

Follows well after Arnica, for soreness of the periosteum after an injury.
