  • Thank you for this list of information that I’ve long been looking for. I’m looking for a similar listing of remedies with modalities. Thanks again for this contribution to Ezine.

  • So, how does one utilize this knowledge in making a prescription? Esp. since the symptom similarity determines the remedy. Please explain or give illustrations.

  • The other small book that I have found most helpful is H.L. Chitkara’s Relationships Homoeopathic Remedies: A New Compendium. B Jain Publishers (P) Ltd. Excellent discussion about what the terms “complementary, Follow well, Anitdotes and inimicals” mean.

  • dear sir,
Sebel Serola is not shown in relationship of medicine.
It is very important remedy. Please add in this list.
    Thanks.

  • Under CALCAREA CARBONICA, you’ve got Sulpher listed as compatible, but also as inimical and as an antidote. Very confusing.

  • please arrange it in tabular form. also show antidoted by,

  • I’m in lower back pain. I usually take Rhus tox. However my doctor suggested Bryonia. I took them a day and half, but see no improvement compared to that of rhus tox on former occasions. It’s weekend and Im supposed to go away in a few days. I decided to take rhus tox on my own. Is that a problem? What are symptoms , if any , of changing from Bryonia to rhus tox? can I take both? My situation of pain is a bit strange. I have symptoms of both Bryonia and Rhus tox, should
I take hyperina. I had also found it effective in past. I’m very concerned about recovery because of my plans on a trip abroad in a few day. If you have any advice , I would appreciate it,ALOT.
    Sincerely,Julie

    • Julie, any homeopath would need to know the following: 1) what happened to your back, when did it happen, is there a diagnosis? 2) What is the kind of pain that you’re feeling–the sensation? 3) What’s the location? For example, is it just one sided? Does it extend upwards or downwards, etc. or stay in one place? 3) What makes it better or worse? Worse lying still? Worse on waking? Worse turning over in bed? Worse walking? Better on continued motion? Hot showers? Better on waking from sleep? Better cold compresses? Massage? Consolation? Give it some thought. I don’t mean to put words in your mouth, I’m just throwing out examples.
