Homoeopathic Approach in the Treatment of Tension Type Headache in Females Age 15 To 45 Years

CONCLUSION

Objectives of my study were to reduce the intensity and episodes of tension type headache. From my study I concluded the following:

In my study 22 cases out of 30 cases got reduction in intensity of pain as well as in episodes of headache. More than 50%  of the cases got positive result with homoeopathic medicine , so I concluded that homoeopathic medicines are effective in reducing the intensity of pain and episodes of headache.

  • I took females of age group 15 to 45 years in my study but I found that females of age group 15 to 35 are most commonly affected.
  • Lack of expression, suppression of emotions, competition in studies, and setback in relationships are the main causative factors which lead to tension type headache.
  • “Ailments from” is most important in selecting the remedy especially in acute attacks of headache.
  • Intensity of pain was the most troublesome symptom bothering the patient rather than frequency of headache, as it affects the quality of life.
